#Project Overview

This project, developed in a corporate environment, is an online learning platform called BorderLink English Conversation . It is composed of multiple systems, including a student/parent web app, admin web app, school web app, tutor web app, agency web app, and business web app. The platform is designed to help students improve their English listening and speaking skills through interactive lessons and practice sessions. By providing these tools, BorderLink enables students to enhance their fluency and confidence in using English both inside and outside the classroom, whether they're preparing for exams, engaging in international activities, or seeking to communicate more effectively.

#Contributions

I served as a production web and server developer for this project, with a primary focus on implementing client-requested modifications and enhancing the overall platform. My role involved closely collaborating with the client to thoroughly understand their requirements, which guided the execution of both frontend and backend changes. On the frontend, I refined the user interface, updated content, debugged issues, and introduced new features to improve the user experience. On the backend, I optimized server performance, updated databases, and implemented new functionalities to ensure the platform's robustness and scalability.

  • Web Development: Proficient in HTML, SCSS, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP for web/server-side development.

  • Frameworks: Experience Laravel, Jquery, Bootstrap, and Tailwind for creating scalable and interactive web applications.

  • IDE: Experienced in using VSCode as the primary development environment.

  • Version Control: Proficient in Git for collaboration and version control.

  • Database Management: Knowledgeable in MySQL/SQL and using MySql Workbench.

  • Docker: Familiarity with Docker for containerization and deployment.

  • Postman: Proficient in using Postman for API testing.

  • Integration: Knowledge of integrating external services and libraries.
